He has not only coached 31 individual NCAA National Champions, but has also coached eight NCAA National Team Champions and 131 All Americans. He was named the NCAA Cross Country andquot;Coach of the Century,andquot; has been the andquot;National Coach of the Yearandquot; three times and was named the andquot;World's Best Coachandquot; by Runner's World.
